  3. Use BBS Find File to quickly search selected sections of the BBS for a file.

  23. ‚Ä¢    Select the part of the BBS you want to search from the ‚ÄúSearch‚Äù pop-up menu.  
  24. Every BBS icon that you have access to appears in this menu.

  26. ‚Ä¢    Next enter a part of a file name in the ‚Äúnames containing‚Äù edit field.

  28. ‚Ä¢    Then click in the ‚ÄúFind‚Äù button to begin the search.   TeleFinder displays the files whose names contain the specified text as it finds matches.

  30. Working with found files
  31. ‚Ä¢     Click in the Open button to display e-mail, text, graphics and message topics.  If TeleFinder cannot display the type of file selected in the list, the Open button will display the Info window.

  33. ‚Ä¢  Click in the Info button to display the Info window.  The Info window shows a description of the file, and thumbnail picture if it is present.

  35. ‚Ä¢  Click in the Receive button to begin the transfer of the selected file to your Macintosh.
